Global Report

Global Report emerges as an intimate dialogue between the personal and the political, capturing the tension between global events and the immediate, tangible realities of daily life. The diaristic drawings, rendered in ink on paper, weave together fragments of world news with reflections on lived experiences, offering a raw, unfiltered lens into how external chaos intersects with the everyday. Each drawing is a snapshot of a moment in time, layered with the immediacy of ink to reflect both permanence and fragility.

Accompanying these drawings are black, skull-like ceramic sculptures that evoke a visceral confrontation with mortality and the enduring weight of human history. These haunting forms ground the dreamlike quality of the drawings, serving as reminders of the corporeal and the inevitable. Also large paintings in acrylic and oil will feature suspended loosely overhead.

Global Report invites viewers to wander through this interplay of thoughts and artefacts, grappling with the fluid boundary between the public and the private, the ephemeral and the eternal. Ceramic heads will be lit from inside with LED’s evoking a reference to the dead we see each day from the horrors perpetrated in countless countries of humanities disregard for one another.
