The Beauty and The Terror

 Nine artists reveal that we are living through a powerful moment — one where community, connection, and hope exist in places least likely to be considered “artistic,” “nice,” or “aesthetic.” What emerges is a surprising glimpse into the spiritual, poetic, and cathartic qualities of hardcore, noisy, smelly, abandoned‑yet‑proudly‑defiant regional culture. Curated by Gabrielle Bates, The Beauty & The Terror features works by Andrew Robards (Mudgee), Ben Lloyd (Kandos), Bridget Baskerville (Kandos?Canberra), Ellie Kaufmann (Captains Flat), Jason Wing (Kandos/Sydney), Jo Shand (Murrurundi), Josephine Starrs & Leon Cmielewski (Clandulla/Sydney), and Lulu Wulf (Bathurst).
